Chelsea are interested in signing a 27-year-old winger from their Premier League rivals.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca massively relied on his wide players last season at Leicester City, so it's going to be interesting to see who starts on the wings at Stamford Bridge in the upcoming campaign.
It was widely reported that the Blues were interested in signing Crystal Palace's right-winger Michael Olise this summer. However, The Athletic explained that Chelsea withdrew their interest because the finances involved were deemed too expensive.
Chelsea do have a number of talented wide men on their books.
Raheem Sterling, Noni Madueke, Mykhailo Mudryk and Cole Palmer are all genuine options to play on the wing.
The club continued to be linked with several different wingers, though.

Jacobs told the London Is Blue podcast: "I'm told that Kaoru Mitoma is liked [by Chelsea]."
Mitoma, 27, suffered an injury-hit season last year at the Amex Stadium.
The PS80,000-a-week attacker (Spotrac) has proven in the last two campaigns he can be a serious threat in the Premier League, though.
Mitoma is fast, agile and a superb dribbler of the football. He's got 13 goals and 13 assists in 67 total Brighton appearances, too.
Jermain Defoe even described Mitoma as "incredible" via Optus Sport in 2023.
Would this be a good signing? We'll wait to see if there's any more concrete interest in Mitoma before getting carried away, but let's assess if the Brighton man would be a good addition by Chelsea.
The Japan international is a great player on the eye and can definitely get supporters off their seats.
He probably deserves the opportunity to join an elite club, but he's by no means a guarantee to succeed.
For Chelsea, they already have Sterling and Mudryk as wingers that prefer to play off the left-hand side. Therefore, it's hard to make the case for going all in to get Mitoma this summer.
