Romelu Lukaku wants a reunion with Antonio Conte and to join Napoli; he's ready to force a move from Chelsea if conditions are not met. According to Area Napoli, Romelu Lukaku could be at loggerheads with Chelsea should they fail to sanction his move to Napoli. The Belgian wants to join the Naples side and reunite with former boss Antonio Conte, and the Italian side will look to get this deal done on the cheap.

Romelu Lukaku to force Chelsea exit? Chelsea are facing another summer in which they must find a solution to Romelu Lukaku's future, and this time, too, it looks like the saga could be a protracted one. The Belgian is coming off another successful loan spell, this time at Roma, where he scored 21 goals in all competitions.

With Belgium now out of Euro 2024, Lukaku is free to find a solution for his future, as the striker does have some options. There were reports of a Saudi approach, while AC Milan have also held talks, but Lukaku wants to seal a move to Napoli and reunite with his former manager, Antonio Conte.

Conte and Lukaku shared a good relationship and won the Serie A title with Inter Milan a few years back. The Belgian striker has since endured a torrid time with transfers as he made a return to Chelsea in a big move, only to return to Inter Milan on an expensive loan spell.

Lukaku is now intent on joining Napoli and is ready to force through an exit while waging a war with Chelsea if they fail to sanction his desired exit. The Blues will look to demand significantly for the Belgian, as Napoli will look for a heavy discount over the transfer.

Lukaku to Chelsea could be a protracted saga Last summer, it took forever for Lukaku to choose his next destination amid a public war between Juventus and Inter before joining Roma. This time around, the Belgian might have already made up his mind about Napoli and Conte also hinted at his desire to re-sign the Belgian, the move is still very complicated.

Napoli will only sign Lukaku as a replacement for Victor Osimhen, and that too after the Nigerian departs. The Napoli striker's asking price could prolong any departure, as clubs will only sign him for a reduced price. This means any move for Lukaku is set to become a protracted saga and contingent on Osimhen leaving the club.
