Chelsea omitted three players from their matchday programme squad.
Conor Gallagher, Armando Broja and Romelu Lukaku were all left out of the lengthy squad list on the back of the booklet for their clash with Man City.
Chelsea say it is because the three have not been allocated squad numbers for this season.
Broja's number 19 has been handed to new signing Pedro Neto while Gallagher [23] and Lukaku [9] have not had anyone take theirs.
Gallagher has been at the club since he was eight and even captained the team numerous times last season.
Chelsea did offer him new terms, but the England international was unhappy with the two year deal on the table compared to the lengthy contracts his teammates were being offered.
A transfer bid from Aston Villa was accepted earlier in the window, but he turned them down.

Chelsea's programme squad list to face Man City Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara believes it will be a huge mistake from Chelsea to let him go.
Reacting to the news that Atletico's transfer offer was accepted, the talkSPORT co-host said: "I think it's a disgrace.
They're letting him go.
"He's a captain of the football club, works his tail off, loves the team.
"What he lacks in quality, he makes up for in heart and desire.
"I think they're making a mistake getting rid of players like that.
"Meanwhile, Chelsea and Napoli are in discussions over a move for Romelu Lukaku and could see him involved in a transfer for Victor Osimhen.
