Liverpool defender Joe Gomez could be set to leave Anfield this summer and it looks like the Reds want a hefty chunk of change.

Gomez was left out of the Liverpool squad yesterday as they beat Ipswich Town.

There are reports that Chelsea are interested in signing Gomez, albeit given the goings on at Stamford Bridge, it remains to be seen if Gomez would fancy that switch.

Nevertheless, if Liverpool are to sell, they'll want to ensure they get maximum value for their man.

And according to CaughtOffside, the Reds are looking for a fee worth tens of millions to sell Gomez.

That asking price could go higher as well, depending on the amount of interest in him.

It's suggested that a number of clubs are keen on Gomez, with Newcastle, Aston Villa and Fulham all among those keen on him.

Gomez has become something of a squad player at Anfield and yesterday, Arne Slot opted to go with Jarrell Quansah before bringing on Ibou Konate.

That decision to bring Konate on was praised at the time, so Gomez will feel he is very much down the pecking order.

The England man has played well for Liverpool over the years and been a bargain signing really.

However, now 27 and after being part of the England squad in the summer, Gomez will want to kick on and show that he can be the main man somewhere.
