One of the most improved performers for Chelsea this season seems to have achieved this from pure hard work on the training ground.

Noni Madueke has forced himself into Enzo Maresca's starting side after having to watch from the bench for the first game of the season.

Madueke went on to deliver the best statistical performance of any player in Europe this season in his first start against Wolves, where he also delivered his first hat-trick in English football.

He remained in the starting side for the first game after the international break at the weekend, with the Blues picking up a narrow 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

Madueke was described as angry when he was subbed off, however it was those off the bench who made the difference in the end.

On the trainer's Instagram story, a supporter asked him if he could also do some work with Nicolas Jackson.

Isaksson-Hurst seemed to be keen on this, simply saying: "I'm available".
