Report: European club won't challenge Chelsea for Victor Osimhen's signature next year
Source:The Chelsea

Chelsea failed to sign Victor Osimhen in the last transfer window and watched him join Galatasaray instead.

However, Chelsea's interest in Victor Osimhen remains, with the striker only signing for Galatasaray on loan.

It means that the Blues could finally land Osimhen in 2025. And if they do decide to go after him again, it looks like they will not have to worry about interest from one club.

Until then, Enzo Maresca will be relying on Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, who have both performed well for him this season. Combined, the two forwards have scored 11 goals under the Italian.

In three Turkish league appearances, he has scored two goals and provided two assists. However, Galatasaray will not be signing him permanently.

According to TEAMtalk, they have no plans to buy the Nigerian from Napoli, which is good news for Chelsea.

The same outlet claims that the Blues are still interested in Osimhen, though he is not the only striker whom they appear to be looking at.

Chelsea have already scouted Victor Boniface this season, so the Bayer Leverkusen star is another option for them.

Chelsea in the driving seat for Victor Osimhen With Galatasaray not planning to sign Osimhen permanently and the Nigeria international not being linked to too many other clubs at the moment, Chelsea look to be in pole position to land him.

However, that was the case in the last transfer window and they still failed to bag the former Lille man.

Ultimately, there is no guarantee that Chelsea will end up bringing Osimhen to Stamford Bridge, especially if Jackson and Nkunku continue performing.

Yet west London still looks like the most likely destination for Osimhen in 2025.
