Chelsea's impressive form at the start of this Premier League season is going to be put to its biggest test yet at the weekend.

The Blues travel to Anfield to take on league leaders Liverpool, with their 100% record away from home this season at its biggest risk yet.

Enzo Maresca will be going in to the game as the reigning manager of the month in the Premier League too after an unbeaten September.

Both Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella will be absent after picking up five yellow cards in just seven league games this season.

Maresca to start Renato Veiga for second time in Premier League For that reason, it is likely that Renato Veiga is one of those who will come into the side.

According to The Mirror, Maresca is coming round to the idea of starting Veiga for just the second time in the league in an attempt to nullify the threat of Mohamed Salah.

Veiga's only other league start came against Bournemouth, when he impressed in what was a makeshift side suffering with injuries and illnesses.

Veiga starring for Portugal He recently caught plenty of attention with his first start for the Portugal national team, with him being described as the future for both club and country. Diogo Dalot described his performance as 'excellent'.

Throwing him into the challenge of Liverpool though is a different level, although feels like a massive opportunity for him to prove that he deserves more minutes even at this early stage of his career.

There was not a lot of excitement over the summer regarding the signing of Veiga, with it somewhat going under the radar.

However, the ease he has displaced Ben Chilwell from the first team picture at all is a testament to just how talented he already is.
