Source:The Chelsea

Chelsea travel to Goodison Park this weekend to face rivals Everton in the Premier League.

Chelsea have won their previous eight consecutive matches across all competitions, so the in-form team should travel to Merseyside extremely confident.

Enzo Maresca's side will temporarily climb to the top of the league table if they pick up three points on Sunday afternoon.

While the Blues are being spoken about as potential title challengers, Everton find themselves 16th in the league table and in another relegation scrap this campaign.

Everton manager Sean Dyche has praised Chelsea and the impact of Maresca at Stamford Bridge.

Shearer told The Metro: "Everton should take confidence from last weekend. Jordan Pickford was outstanding. Also with the takeover, great news for Everton looking forward but I don't think that'll have too much of an effect on the pitch.

"I think that the form Chelsea are in, the teams Maresca is able to put out I'd think that Chelsea will go to Goodison and take all the points.

But I still think they'll have a blip and I'm not sure they'll end up in second but they're there and you have to take them seriously. You can't just say they have no chance. Of course they've got a chance. I still don't think they'll win it, though. Prediction: Chelsea win."

Chris Sutton agrees Chelsea will beat Everton in the weekend showdown. The Blues should take confidence from the fact they beat them 6-0 the last time the teams clashed back in April at Stamford Bridge.
