Everton attacker Arnaut Danjuma could already be planning a swift exit route out of Goodison Park after yet another Sean Dyche snub against Crystal Palace.

The Dutchman had to watch on again as a late goal from substitute Idrissa Gueye helped the Toffees triumph over the Seagulls in a thrilling Premier League game at Selhurst Park on Saturday (11 November).

The result means Everton are now eight points clear of the drop zone on 14 points after 12 games and have now lost just once in five games in all competitions.

The Toffees are undergoing something of a stark renaissance in recent weeks, one which Danjuma may well feel he isn't forming a key part, having been resigned to bench roles for much of the campaign so far.

The Dutchman has been afforded just four starting opportunities in the league this season, including the unfortunate defeat to Wolves, their 2-2 draw to Sheffield United where he scored and their defeat to Arsenal.

Danjuma's loan move to Goodison was supposed to be the chance to rejuvenate his career after a failed loan move at Tottenham last season but so far, it seems that trend is continuing in Liverpool.

Dyche did hand him a rare start in their 3-0 EFL Cup win over Burnley at Goodison Park on 1 November.

However, the Netherlands international did not make the impact he would've wanted.

In his 68 minutes on the pitch, the former Villarreal man was largely underwhelming.

According to Sofascore, he made just 17 touches in the game and his pass accuracy was only 71 per cent.

He also lost the only ground duel he attempted and offered nothing out of possession for Dyche's side.

The Everton boss, speaking in his press conference ahead of their 1-1 draw with Brighton, as per Liverpool ECHO (2 November) gave the excuse that Danjuma's struggles were understandable given his lack of minutes.

However, the Dutchman may well have felt he could have made the difference against Palace on Saturday but was forced to watch Gueye making the crucial difference after being brought on when Everton were ahead at 2-1.

Dyche then threw on Beto for Calvert-Lewin instead of Danjuma which certainly will have left him frustrated.

It remains to be seen when the Dutchman could well be given the chance to start again but with just weeks remaining until the January window, the Villarreal loanee may already have plans to ditch Everton and seek first-team opportunities elsewhere.

In other Everton news, the Toffees want to sign an award-winning defensive wonder in January, with his club now resigned to losing him amid several Premier League interest.
