The Sky Blues will return to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Monday evening as they play host to West Bromwich Albion in the Sky Bet Championship.
MEET THE BAGGIES
West Bromwich Albion have made a solid start to the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season, sitting in 6th place after 13 games played.
The Baggies have won five, drawn five, and lost three matches so far, scoring 20 goals and conceding 14.
From an Albion point of view, one of the most pleasing aspects of their season so far has been their defensive solidity: The Baggies have kept six clean sheets in 13 matches, which is the joint-best record in the league.
Carlos Corberan's side are going through something of an injury crisis at present with Daryl Dike, Josh Maja, Adam Reach, Jeremy Sarmiento and Josh Swift all sidelined - but it remains unclear whether any will return for Monday night's meeting.
INSIDE THE SKY BLUES CAMP
"I always look forward to the games. It's a chance to get back to winning ways.
"They're a good side. Carlos' teams are always difficult to break down and he has people in positions where they can try and stop you from playing, first and foremost, but they've got quality in the team.
"They've got pace in the team, and they've got a lot of ability there. They're in that top six at the moment so it's another tough task for us, but again, we are looking forward to it there's no doubt.
"The next run of games is very, very difficult. West Brom, Preston, Stoke, and then another international break, but it's a chance to pick up some points and some good performances in the next or so."
