Coventry City's Dasilva, 25, is called up by Wales for the first time having represented England throughout his youth career.

Dasilva was born in Luton, but his grandmother was born in Pontypridd.

Wales will qualify for the European Championship should they win their last two qualifying games.

They face Armenia in Yerevan on Saturday, 18 November before Turkey visit the Cardiff City Stadium three days later.

Dasilva, whose younger brother Cole is a former Wales U21s international, moved to Coventry on a free transfer last summer after leaving Bristol City when his contract expired.

A product of Chelsea's academy, Dasilva played 54 games during two loan spells at Charlton Athletic before moving to Ashton Gate on loan in 2018.

He made a permanent switch to the Robins the following year, and made a total of 144 appearances for the club.

Dasilva was offered a new Bristol City contract, but opted instead to sign a four-year deal at Coventry.

He adds to the options on the left side of defence open to Robert Page, after Ben Davies, Neco Williams and Sunderland's Niall Huggins were named in the Wales boss' original squad earlier this week.
