Manchester United handed double Michael Olise 'blow' and other transfer rumours

Manchester United have reportedly been dealt a potential double blow in their hopes of signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise this summer, with their lack of Champions League football playing a part.

Olise has impressed with his performances at Selhurst Park since moving to the club from Reading. His season has been impacted by injury this season, meaning that he has only made 13 league appearances, but that has not stopped interest, with United reportedly seeing him as a possible replacement for Antony, but they could now have a problem.

The Athletic reports that Olise is only likely to leave Palace this summer if a 'small number of Champions League' clubs make a move for him. United have been linked with an interest in the 22-year-old for some time, but it seems that they could miss out.

The winger is said to have a PS65million release clause in his contract after signing a new deal at Selhurst Park last summer amid interest from Chelsea. In what could be a double blow, the Guardian report that Arsenal have also entered the race for the France U21 international, with United and Man City among those to be tracking him.

Elsewhere, United are reported to have three potential targets to replace Sofyan Amrabat after his loan move expires. The Morocco international joined on loan from Fiorentina in the summer but is due to return to the Italian club at the end of the season.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Adrien Rabiot, who is available on a free transfer is a 'concrete option' for the club. But they are also said to be watching Joao Neves of Benfica and AS Monaco's Youssouf Fofana.

City are also reported to be watching Neves. The 19-year-old has played a total of 51 times in all competitions this season and has established himself as a key player for Benfica after breaking into the team in the second half of last season.
