Paul Warne named a strong Derby County team out of the players he has available as the Rams went in search of an FA Cup replay victory against Crewe at Pride Park tonight.

Derby's head coach made just two changes from the side which convincingly beat Barnsley in League One at the weekend in what was their best performance of the season so far. There are also welcome returns for winger Joe Ward and striker Martyn Waghorn after injury but had to settle for a place on the bench which included academy players Tony Weston, Dajaune Brown and Darren Robinson.

In what is expected to be a 4-3-3 formation, Joe Wildsmith is in goal behind the back four of Kane Wilson, Curtis Nelson, Eiran Cashin and Craig Forsyth. Ryan Nyambe is unavailable because he is on international duty with Namibia.

In midfield, the midfield trio are the same as the weekend with Max Bird, Conor Hourihane and Korey Smith, who were all impressive at the weekend, making up the engine room. On the flanks, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing is not fit enough to start having suffered a bang on his knee at the weekend. But Tom Barkhuizen starts on the right, Louie Sibley is on the left, while James Collins, who has five goals in his last two games, leads the line up front. On the bench are Ward, Waghorn, Weston, Brown, Robinson, Josh Vickers, Sonny Bradley, Daniel Cox and Adebayo Fapetu. Injured for Derby are Conor Washington, Jake Rooney, Liam Thompson, Tyreece John-Jules and Mendez-Laing.

Derby: Wildsmith; Wilson, Nelson, Cashin, Forsyth; Smith, Bird, Hourihane; Barkhuizen, Collins, Sibley.

Subs: Ward, Waghorn, Weston, Brown, Robinson, Vickers, Bradley, Cox and Fapetu.
