Goals from James Tarkowski, Amadou Onana and Ashley Young ensured safe passage to the last eight of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening, as the Blues recorded a third win in four games.

Set to face Fulham in the next round of the competition, attention has now quickly turned back to their league endeavours.

With another huge encounter at Goodison Park set to come on Saturday afternoon, Dyche spoke to sections of the media earlier this afternoon, stating just how his squad is shaping up ahead of the visit of Roberto De Zerbi's side.

VERDICT: What Sean Dyche did in 68th minute spoke volumes about Everton win over BurnleyFirst up was the fitness of Seamus Coleman, with the Everton boss stating: ''Seamus [Coleman] is going well, he will hopefully get involved in a game with the Under-21s this weekend.

He needs some game time, of course, but he is trying very well and I think he is back on the grass.

''Dele [Alli] has time got some time to go, he has just got back on the grass now and he is a good place as I spoke to him the other day.

I had a chat with him and he seems in a good place, other than his injury of course, he is frustrated by that.

"The fitness of midfielder Andre Gomes was also discussed, with the former Burnley boss adding: ''Andre has been very frustrated.

He has got a niggly calf injury again, but he is coming back through that now.
