Pre-match views from the Match Thread:

Scotimp: "So, will there be a positive reaction from the players, fuelled by relief and a new-found sense of freedom, or a lack of direction from an interim head coach?"

clanfordimp: "I think we'll start with high intensity. We'll be closing them down and getting our tackles in and not letting them settle.

Well have a look at it for 10 -15 minutes, keep it tight and make sure we don't concede, then look to impose ourselves on the game.

These are 4th bottom, scored 8 goals all season, conceded 18 and lost 4 - 1 at home in their last home game.

We're going to have a bit of a bounce today with Kennedy gone and Shaw is never going to have a better opportunity to get his managerial career off to a winning start.

Not saying we go gung ho at them but the handbrake should be gradually released and we start letting our footballers play, get in more forward positions and actually create some chances instead of our priority being trying to cancel out the opposition first and mounting the occasional counter-attack ourselves."

Chimpimp: "Will be fascinating to see how Tom Shaw sees things. If I were him I would rip up MKs plans* and put out the team and play the way I think will give us the the best chance to get a good result.

* That doesn't mean he won't come to 90% of the same conclusions MK did (we will see).

...but this is his chance.

He may actually have a striker to select or at least use for part of the game, although...

.....I would be amazed if Hamilton is fit, the way he was hobbling about at the end last week.

Should be interesting."
