Asmir Begovic believes Everton have a "massive" game against Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday (19 October).

The Toffees find themselves one point ahead of the Tractor Boys in the Premier League table and currently sit two points away from the drop zone.

Speaking on talkSPORT (16 October), the Everton goalkeeper shared his thoughts on the game.

"Tough game, massive game, every game in the Premier League is incredibly tough and I think the level has never been higher," Begovic said.

"We go in there, we've been on a good run ourselves, three unbeaten and put in some good performances, we go there with a lot of optimism and hopefully we can put in a good performance".

Everton need to win Ipswich on Saturday Everton haven't been at their best this season. The Toffees have had a hard time in the top flight despite the solid performances from players such as Dwight McNeil each week.

Their slow start to the campaign will have no doubt changed their expectations of where they want to finish in the league and will have likely affected their confidence.

Some summer arrivals such as Iliman Ndiaye and Tim Iroegbunam hit the ground running as soon as they arrived at Goodison Park but others are yet to leave their mark.
