McKenna: Greaves and Johnson Suffer KnocksSaturday, 19th Oct 2024 18:47

Town boss Kieran McKenna says Jacob Greaves will be out for a few weeks having suffered a hamstring injury, while Ben Johnson suffered a knock at the end of last week.

McKenna says centre-half Greaves picked up his problem at the London Stadium a fortnight ago: "He has an injury after the West Ham game, so he's going to be out for a few weeks at least.

"And Ben Johnson got an injury very late in the training week this week, so we're still assessing that one but it's probably going to be a couple of weeks as well."

Gforce added 19:04 - Oct 19Losing Greaves is a massive blow, alongside losing Tuanzebe, this could really cost us.Our back ups are just not premier league standard I'm afraid. By the time those two return we could be cast well adrift.

One half of Liverpool has already visited Portman Road, now it's the turn of the Blue half as Sean Dyche's Everton make the trip down south.
