What Everton fans could be heard chanting after Michael Keane's goal against Ipswich
Source:Everton News

Everton put in one of their most complete performances of the season against Ipswich, and fans even broke out into song about Michael Keane.

It's still crazy to think about how quickly things have turned around for the better at Everton after a below par first five games in the Premier League.

Michael Keane was named as the best shooter at Everton by Dwight McNeil recently, and he showed it on the field with his first-half goal against Ipswich.

It's safe to say that Keane's early season form wasn't great, especially his display against Bournemouth where he was described as a nervous wreck.

However, with performances improving and a goal to his name, fans broke out into song after his goal against Ipswich.

The pressure is now on Jarrad Branthwaite to get back into the Everton side after a clean sheet performance, which is a nice decision for Dyche to have.

Keane finished off his goal like a striker, hitting it high up into the roof of the net from quite a tight angle, which sparked chants in the away end.

The latest on Jarrad Branthwaite at Everton Jarrad Branthwaite was uncertain for the Ipswich Town clash after picking up an injury after the Crystal Palace clash.

Interestingly, Sean Dyche after the game stated that Branthwaite could have actually played but they decided to rest him, which turned out to be a good decision.

The healthy competition is something that hasn't been there for Dyche in the current campaign, and to be fair to the Everton boss, sticking with Keane has paid off.

With Fulham, Southampton and West Ham coming up, this could be the start of a mini run for the Toffees.
