Stuart Rayner has issued an update as Leeds United and Huddersfield Town agreed a reciprocal ticket pricing offer for the two games this season.

Huddersfield fans had expressed their frustration over reports that the Whites were looking to charge PS47 per ticket for the game at Elland Road on 28 October.

It's confirmed that prices are now at PS20 for an adult ticket, PS15 for seniors aged 65+/disabled adults/19-22 years, PS10 for under-19s; and PS5 for under-11s.

Rayner, the Yorkshire Post journalist shared on Twitter that there are unlikely to be any issues.

He wrote, "Good to see commonsense prevail from #LUFC and #HTAFC. This shouldn't be an issue, though. Can't be right that the Premier League are ahead on this, a Football League cap on away tickets is long overdue."

Much better

It was ridiculous charging that kind of money for a ticket and it's good to see that common sense has prevailed.

Football is a game for the fans and the reason why players make the kind of money they do is because there's that much interest in it.

It's ridiculous how clubs feel that they can take fans for a ride and the fans must not take these things lying down in the future either.

Leeds fans would also be subject to such ridiculous prices and that's not really a good look for both sides.

Just because the die-hard supporters will be willing to pay whatever it takes to watch their side doesn't mean that clubs take advantage of it.

It should be something that's affordable to all the fans and this decision should be celebrated by fans of all clubs.

In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that big European clubs have been keeping tabs on a Whites player for a while and are still willing to sign him.
