Fullback CJ Bott remains absent due to a calf complaint, while Hannah Cain continues her rehabilitation from an ACL injury

The Villans will visit Pirelli Stadium on Friday night for the WSL encounter

LCFC Women are gearing up to face Aston Villa in the Barclays Women's Super League and are pleased to report that there are no fresh injuries within their squad. Manager Willie Kirk confirmed this news, providing reassurance as they prepare for their upcoming match.

However, fullback CJ Bott is still unavailable due to a calf complaint and has not played since Leicester's draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on 10 December. According to Kirk, she may need another week or two before returning to action. Meanwhile, Hannah Cain is continuing her recovery from an ACL injury.

During his prematch press conference on Wednesday afternoon, Kirk told reporters: "No, nothing [new]. CJ Bott is still out. She's probably still a week away or two weeks away from coming back but apart from that we have a clean bill of health."

The Villans will be visiting Pirelli Stadium on Friday night (7pm GMT kickoff) for what promises to be an exciting encounter in the WSL. With no new fitness worries reported by Kirk and only ongoing rehabilitation cases like those of CJ Bott and Hannah Cain being mentioned as concerns at present time., LCFC Women appear ready and raring go into this important fixture against Aston Villa.
