Leicester City is said to be keen on securing Callum Doyle's services from Manchester City permanently. The 20yearold defender has been on loan at the King Power Stadium since the beginning of the season but faced challenges after sustaining an injury that kept him out for over three months. Although he has not seen much action so far, Leicester is still interested in making his move permanent along with another player they currently have on loan.
The Athletic reported today that negotiations will need to take place as there is no option for Leicester to buy Doyle outright. It remains uncertain how much money Manchester City will demand for his transfer given their recent success selling academy players.
Enzo Maresca being head coach at Leicester could play a role in their interest in acquiring Doyle permanently as he previously won the U23s Premier League title under Maresca's coaching during his time at Etihad last year. If promoted back into the Premier League, it would allow Manchester City to demand more money from any potential suitors looking acquire their talented young prospect.
While there may be speculation about integrating him into Pep Guardiola’s first team squad given his talent and potential contribution described as 'classy Rolls Royce of a player', it might prove challenging considering competition within Man city squad specifically Nathan Ake and Josko Gvardiol who occupy similar positions however if integrated successfully by mancity than foxex could expect high bid offer by mancity
In conclusion, while nothing definitive can be concluded yet about Callum Doye future ,it seems likely based off past experiences that both teams (ManCity & Foxex) would benefit greatly financially through such deal either way .
