'Quality': Harvey Elliott and Bobby Clark laud 'class' 21-year-old Liverpool player on Instagram after draw

Harvey Elliott and Bobby Clark were amongst those to take to Instagram to laud Jarell Quansah following the youngster's performance for Liverpool against Manchester City on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp's men may not have got the result that they wanted, but they certainly made a statement with their display against the champions at Anfield. Liverpool were certainly the side more likely to score the winner in the second-half.

And what seemed particularly remarkable was how quiet Erling Haaland was. Virgil van Dijk was colossal once again. But the man alongside him, Jarell Quansah, was also exceptional.

But then, following the Carabao Cup final, should we be at all surprised when Liverpool youngsters step up on the big stage?

Quansah has been exceptional this season. And Sunday proved to be another reminder of his potential.
