Jurgen Klopp looked furious as his post-match interview after Liverpool's defeat against Crystal Palace was drowned out by the visitor's dressing room music.

Liverpool will count themselves lucky to not have fallen further behind after Andy Robertson cleared Jean-Philippe Mateta's goal-bound effort off the line as the Eagles continuously carved open the Reds defence. But come full time, Liverpool's forward line had wasted a plethora of guilt-edged chances to get something from the game.

And the exasperation at his side drawing a blank and tasting defeat for the second time in a week at Anfield - after Atalanta won 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday - was carved all over Klopp's face. The 56-year-old's mood would have been severely worsened after Palace's dressing room music echoed around the Anfield tunnel.

While Klopp was asked a question, he stood motionless with his head tilted back and his eyes narrowed as the sound of the celebrations in the Palace dressing room could be heard in the background.

Speaking over the rapturous Palace party, Klopp said: "Here we stand, lost the game, and I feel really, really rubbish. We need now a bit of time to process that because it's a really bad moment.
