Just two or three matches remain per team before the conclusion of an exhilarating campaign and fans across the West Midlands are enjoying seeing expectations exceeded. Aston Villa are one win away from securing UEFA Champions League football for next term, while Wolverhampton Wanderers are fighting for a top-half finish after being considered relegation candidates.

Manchester City are the favourites to win a record-breaking fourth successive title with their game in hand but Arsenal are taking Pep Guardiola's side the distance. Liverpool have dropped away a little in third but the Reds are still miles ahead of fellow 'big six' clubs Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Down at the foot of the standings, it appears the three promoted teams will drop straight back to the Sky Bet Championship. Sheffield United are already confirmed as relegated, Burnley are one draw or defeat away from the same fate, and Luton Town are three points adrift from Nottingham Forest in 17th.
