Source: Mirror

Jurgen Klopp is preparing for both his last match at Anfield and final Liverpool game before he departs Merseyside in the summer and looks to be making the most of his last couple of days

Jurgen Klopp was spotted soaking in the aura of Anfield's Kop end ahead of his final match in charge of Liverpool.

The German announced his departure from the club earlier this season - a year before the end of his contract. He will take charge of his final game this Sunday against Wolves.

Emotions are expected to be high before, during and after the game and it appears that Klopp is already making the most of every moment ahead of his farewell. Footage shared on social media has shown Klopp spending time on the Anfield pitch on his own.

He spent time standing in the centre circle staring at the Kop. Klopp was also pictured in the stands at Anfield as he prepares to bid goodbye to the club.

Speaking after the midweek 3-3 draw with Aston Villa, academy graduate Jarell Quansah said: "We've definitely got to play our way and give him a good send off. Just keep fighting until the death and obviously just play for that really, give him the best send-off on Sunday."

Elsewhere, Harvey Elliott has also promised similar, having been full of praise for Klopp and his time at Anfield. He said: "The gaffer, we can't thank him enough and it's the least we can do for him

"The achievements that he has achieved as a manager and for us as players, the experiences that we have gained, we can never say thank you enough. The least we can do is go out and perform for him and put our hearts on the line. He's given us many opportunities and turned us into men. There's another game at the weekend but it's going to be a very emotional one for everyone."

He added: "It's going to be an emotional day. Us as players and us as a club, we can't thank the coaching staff and himself enough and I think the least we can do is put in a top performance for him and give him the best possible send-off. I know as a club we are going to do that with the fans behind us as well.

"There's one man who deserves that in this world and that's the boss. For us as players, we just want to go out and play the best possible football we can. We are on our home turf and we'll come to the emotions after the game."
