Real Madrid are reportedly expressing an interest in signing Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool. According to Sport Bild, the La Liga giants have stepped up their plans to sign the right-back this summer.
The report claims that interest from Madrid is now "concrete", with Alexander-Arnold's contract set to expire in 12 months time. It has also been stated that the Liverpool vice-captain and Kirkby academy graduate himself is also intrigued by the idea of a move to the Spanish capital.
It has not been stated whether a move would happen this summer, other than the suggestion that it could happen next year when Alexander-Arnold may be a free agent. The 25-year-old's contract expires in 2025 and it remains to be seen if an extension will be agreed.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have been informed of how much they may have to pay to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Victor Gyokeres. According to HITC, the Reds are interested in signing a striker this summer, with Gyokeres a potential target.
The report claims that Sporting have lowered their asking price for Gyokeres to below the striker's release clause. The former Coventry City star has an exit clause in his contract worth PS85 million, but the Portuguese club are thought to be willing to accept an offer below that figure.
