Ian Doyle - Two keep their place from Forest win

There may be bad weather expected on the South Coast this evening but Liverpool will hope to whip up a storm of their own against Bournemouth.

But who should Jurgen Klopp call upon for the League Cup fourth round tie?

There will be changes. And a lot of them. First of all in goal, where Caoimhin Kelleher can start. In fact, the whole of the backline is new, with Joe Gomez right-back, Joel Matip and Jarell Quansah the centre-backs and Luke Chambers left-back.

In midfield, Wataru Endo returns as the number six with Curtis Jones on the left. And I'd stick with Ryan Gravenberch but shift him to the right.

And up top, Cody Gakpo is ready to lead the line, with Harvey Elliott on the right and the durable Diogo Jota on the left.

My team (4-3-3): Kelleher; Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Chambers; Endo, Gravenberch, Jones; Elliott, Gakpo, Jota

Paul Gorst - Salah starts and experienced centre-back duo remain

A fairly manageable three-game run in the next eight days should see Liverpool able to rotate, chop and change without too much of a drop-off in quality.

Before trips to Toulouse and Luton Town however, it's Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup with a place in the quarter-finals at stake. It's a competition that has been proven to provide a huge bounce for teams and clubs towards greater heights if they are successful and this new-look squad should be going all out in my opinion as a result.

In goal, Caoimhin Kelleher comes in for Alisson Becker and Joe Gomez can drop in at right-back. In the centre, I'm resisting calls to name Jarell Quansah in there and picking Ibrahima Konate alongside Joel Matip. Luke Chambers starts at left-back to give Kostas Tsimikas a breather.

Another start for Wataru Endo beckons at the base of the midfield and Harvey Elliott and a Curtis Jones can come into the side on the right and left side the two No.8 slots respectively.

Ben Doak is back in training but I think the young Scot might be forced to settle for a place on the bench. Mohamed Salah plays then with Cody Gakpo through the middle and Diogo Jota on the left.

My team (4-3-3): Kelleher; Gomez, Matip, Konate, Chambers; Endo, Elliott, Jones; Salah, Gakpo, Jota

Brendan McGilligan - New captain named as Nunez keeps place

Jurgen Klopp will look to progress to the next round, but a number of changes are expected as Liverpool look to continue their Premier League title push against Luton Town at the weekend.

With this being the key focus, a number of stars may start on the bench tonight against Bournemouth.

In defence, it is almost assured that Caoimhin Kelleher will come into goal, while Joe Gomez and Luke Chambers will start in the fullback positions. Joel Matip is expected to add some experience to the back line, and his centre-back partner is set to be Jarell Quansah.

In midfield, expect a wholesale change, with the expected captain for the game, Curtis Jones, starting alongside Harvey Elliot and the Japanese international Wataru Endo.

In the front line, there should be a starting place for Cody Gakpo as he continues to get up to full fitness following his return from injury. The Dutch international should start alongside in form Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota due to the continued absence of Luis Diaz and the injured Ben Doak.

My team (4-3-3): Kelleher; Gomez, Matip, Quansah, Chambers; Endo, Elliott, Jones; Gakpo, Nunez, Jota
