Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli is excited for upcoming games after the international break against Liverpool and Bournemouth.
Martinelli scored in the Gunners' 3-1 win against Southampton after coming off the bench. The Brazilian forward had two goals and an assist in his last three games before the international break.
After the Southampton game, Mikel Arteta was pleased that his team went unbeaten after the last international break.
Martinelli will join Brazil for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Peru.
Gabriel Martinelli feeling happy again Before his goal against Leicester City, Martinelli hd failed to score in a competitive game for Arsenal since March. The forward says he is now feeling confident after scoring again last weekend.
"I'm really happy, really confident now and just trying to play my football again," he said post-match. "[Arteta said] go there, control the game and try to take the game to the final third and create chances for us.
"It was a tough one, we showed our qualities. I think we did really well, we won the game so really happy. We have the international now we have to go there and try to stay fit and think about the upcoming games. We're ready and can't wait until the Premier League is back again."
Arsenal forward thinks his teammate Bukayo Saka is the best in the world Martinelli and Saka have always been looked up to as the duo that carry the Arsenal team in attack. This season, Bukayo Saka has been one of the best creators in the league with 7 assists. Gabriel Martinelli rightfully thinks Saka belongs with the best.
"We know when someone opens the ball up, we know the areas that we need to go," Gabi added. "It was an unbelievable ball from B, and I was there - a really good moment for me and a nice goal. I just tried to put it down, and I'm really happy with the goal.
"He's a really nice guy as well so we're really happy to have him here as one of the captains. He's unbelievable, one of the best players in the world right now."
The Gunners' first game after the international break is away to Bournemouth.
