Manchester City have a plethora of experienced players at the club who know what it takes to win titles.
One of those players is Kyle Walker, who has been at the Etihad Stadium since 2017 after he arrived from Tottenham Hotspur in a deal worth PS50m.
During his time with Pep Guardiola's side, the 34-year-old has appeared in 308 matches for the Blues across all competitions, chipping in with six goals and 23 assists.
Back in August, fellow right-back Reece James shared his praise for Walker, saying this about the City captain.
He said: "His all-round quality as a player and person is at an elite level. He's been at the top for a number of years and he's a great professional."
Now though, a pundit has shared his thoughts on where Walker ranks alongside another one of the Premier League's top right-backs.
Darren Bent picks between Kyle Walker and Trent Alexander-Arnold When asked on talkSPORT (18/10 18:47) if he thinks Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in Premier League history, Bent gave this retort.
He said: "No, Kyle Walker. He [Trent Alexander-Arnold] is the most technical full-back we ever had, but in terms of full-back, I will go Kyle Walker."
Danny Mills claimed Alexander-Arnold is 'nowhere near' the best right-back In addition to Bent, another talkSPORT pundit has shared his thoughts on the comparison between the two right-backs, as Danny Mills said this on which Premier League right-backs he feels are better than Alexander-Arnold.
He said: "Kyle Walker. [Branislav] Ivanovic, Gary Neville, hate to say that. Lee Dixon's in there, I mean, there are so many! Paulo Ferreira at Chelsea."
"No. If you're talking best-ever in the Premier League, he's nowhere near it!"
Despite that, Alexander-Arnold has scored 19 goals and delivered 83 assists in 319 senior appearances for Liverpool across all competitions.
In comparison, Walker has bagged six goals and provided just 23 assists in 308 appearances with City.
However, the City captain has lifted six Premier League trophies whereas the Liverpool defender has won just one.
So while Alexander-Arnold may have the edge in terms of delivering goal contributions for his side, Walker has the longevity and the trophy cabinet to be declared the best fight-back in Premier League history.
Now that Bent has reiterated how he thinks Walker should be rated higher than Alexander-Arnold, this should further highlight how much of a top player the veteran is and the impact he's had during his time in the Premier League.
