Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold continues to be linked with a high-profile transfer to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Real Madrid could target Alexander-Arnold in January, with the player potentially linking up with his England teammate Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham has spoken to Alexander-Arnold about Real Madrid, with the duo having formed a close friendship in recent years.
Having taken to the pitch together for England, the defender and midfielder could now be reunited in the Spanish capital.
Alexander-Arnold will see his Liverpool contract expire next summer, with no new deal for the player confirmed.
Tony Cascarino has now offered his latest thoughts on the defender's situation, saying on talkSPORT: "Well, you know, Bellingham and him are meant to be good friends, aren't they?

"I mean, Bellingham will probably have told him a number of things about Real Madrid, about what they do, the development and the ideas and what it's like to play for such a huge club in world football.
"Trent, look, if he is not signing a new contract at this time, he has had his head turned quite clearly about where he's going to make his next step."
Will Trent Alexander-Arnold really leave Liverpool for Real Madrid? Given his connection with Liverpool, the academy graduate should only be really considering an exit if indeed it was to go to Real Madrid.
The European powerhouses could help take his career to another level, while there is the added bonus of his close friend Bellingham playing there already.
Bellingham would undoubtedly ease the transition from Anfield to Spain, although there should be no doubts about Alexander-Arnold's ability to slot in effortlessly.
But it would be a huge blow to Slot, Liverpool and everyone connected with the club, particularly if he left for free next summer.
Agreeing a new contract is, of course, the ideal scenario, with Alexander-Arnold leaving for a huge fee in January the second-best outcome.
