His vast array of skill and talent was full on display for Pep Guardiola's side yesterday as he returned to his early season form. With what lies ahead for the world champions, it was a positive for City to see Doku back firing again.
Yesterday's performance by City's electric winger showed what he can add to City when he's at his best. He tormented the Luton Town defence with his trickery and dribbling ability. His ability to beat a man was on full display as he was one of City's best players throughout the game. Nothing encapsulated this more than his stunning goal for City's 4th of the game at the Etihad Stadium. It was the perfect example of what Doku adds to the world champions when he is firing.

City's electric winger picked a goal and an assist yesterday, but his overall display was what caught the eye. Given the different element he adds to the world champions, it can only be to Manchester City's benefit to see Doku return to his dazzling best at such a critical point of the season.
While his performances plateaued during the middle of the season as injury and a busy schedule caught up to the Belgian winger, he now appears to be back to his sparkling best. Doku has a good season in his first season at Manchester City and under Pep Guardiola. He had added 5 goals and 8 assists in his debut season for the treble winners. His performances this season are a good base for Doku to build into his career at Manchester City.
Manchester City is a different proposition when Jeremy Doku is firing. He adds a different dimension to Pep Guardiola's squad when he plays like he did yesterday. As Manchester City attacks the business end of the season, Doku may be City's X factor during the final stages of the season.
