Luton boss Rob Edwards has no doubts that the chances 'will go in' for summer signing Jacob Brown.

The 25-year-old joined from Stoke City after a season in which he was on target nine times for the Potters, following up his career high of 14 the previous campaign.

The Scottish international then notched inside two minutes of his first start for Town, that coming in a Carabao Cup tie against Gillingham back in August when he clinically drove into the bottom corner, but hasn't been able to find the net since.

He added another two the tally during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest, swivelling to send a right-footed attempt off target in the first half and then putting a free header straight at Reds keeper Matt Turner from eight yards out after the break, both times when being picked out by crosses from Chiedozie Ogbene.

Speaking afterwards, Edwards remained confident the forward will soon end his wait to find the net in the top flight, saying: "I know I keep repeating myself, but it would be a concern if he wasn't getting them.

"He's in the right place at the right time, they will go in, they will go in.

"He works so, so hard and the good thing is as well, he's not just working hard and nothing's happening.

"He's getting chances, so that's the positive, that's a good thing."
