Manchester City has agreed to sign Argentine forward Julian Alvarez from River Plate, with a deal that allows him to remain in Buenos Aires until the end of the European season and join in the summer.

The club also reached an agreement for midfielder Claudio Echeverri, who will stay in his homeland until the end of the year before potentially joining Guardiola's firstteam squad from January.

Savio is set to join Manchester City ahead of the 2024/25 season, finalizing a move from City Football Group club Troyes.
