Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay has agreed to join MLS side Minnesota United as their new head coach and will depart Old Trafford following the March 3 derby against Manchester City. The appointment makes him the youngest head coach in MLS history.

Ramsay's arrival at Minnesota comes after being identified as their top managerial target, with previous experience on Blackpool's shortlist and interest from Swansea last December. He brings a big reputation and has worked with Chelsea, Wales, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ralf Rangnick, and current boss Erik ten Hag during his time at Man Utd.

The Red Devils are currently sixth in the Premier League but have been on a good run of form lately. They face Fulham before taking on rivals Man City in what will be Ramsay's farewell match. However, they'll have to do without star striker Rasmus Hojlund due to injury.
