Manchester United are set to be without one of their key players for next weekend's big Premier League clash against Manchester City.

Tomorrow sees the Red Devils take on Fulham at Old Trafford for their latest Premier League match before they then gear up for the latest Manchester Derby at the Etihad Stadium next weekend.

However, it has now been revealed that United will have to get through their next few games without one of their key players in the squad. Rasmus Hojlund will be out of action with a muscle injury and is expected to miss two to three weeks. This comes as a blow considering his recent impressive form, scoring seven goals in his last six matches along with providing two assists. The striker was signed by United from Atalanta during last summer's transfer window for £72m.

In Ten Hag's press conference ahead of tomorrow's match against Fulham, he mentioned that although it is not a major injury, Hojlund needs time off due to high intensity training risks involved. While this may give some relief from City’s perspective regarding an opponent threat being absent, winning this crucial derby remains imperative if they want any chance at regainingthePremier League title.
