Thierry Henry has said that if Phil Foden is not happy at Manchester City, then he should leave.
The Arsenal legend made the comments about Manchester City and Phil Foden while discussing the importance of players competing for places in the first team at big clubs.
Henry has noted that in big clubs such as Arsenal and Manchester City, players have to compete for their places all the time.
And, according to the former France international forward who played under City manager Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, if you are not happy, then you should just leave.
Thierry Henry on Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden Henry said on The Rest is Football podcast: "Phil Foden is a good player. But Man City keeps on buying players.
"You are at a big club. That's how it is.
"And if you are not happy to be at a big club, then you have got to go, you have got to go."

My View: Phil Foden thriving amid competition at Manchester City I believe that Phil Foden is thriving and flourishing at Manchester City because of competition for places in the team.
Foden is a very good midfielder who can play in a number of roles.
The 23-year-old is hugely talented and is rated very highly by City manager Pep Guardiola.
Yet, there is no guarantee that Foden will start week in and week out for City.
The midfielder started 24 times in the league in 2021-22.
So far this season, Foden has started seven matches and has made one substitute appearance in the Premier League for City so far this season.
Now, of course, a player does need some kind of assurance that he will get to play.
It is never a good idea to keep players always in suspense over their place in the team.
However, it is very important in a squad that there is healthy competition for places.
And at City, it is there.
