Ruben Dias has said that Erling Haaland was unstoppable for Manchester City in their 3-1 win against Arsenal last season.

Speaking to club media in an interview alongside Bernardo Silva, the 26-year-old was quizzed about picking a key moment from City's treble-winning campaign.

Ruben Dias believes how Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland performed at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal was worthy of a special mention.

Manchester City colossus Ruben Dias says Erling Haaland was on another level against Arsenal last season Branded as 'elite' by Sergio Aguero (via OneFootball), the PS51 million (Sky Sports) man's ineffective display against the Gunners was widely criticised before the international break.

Even Dani Carvajal admitted after Spain's 1-0 win against Norway on Sunday that his side managed to tame the former Borussia Dortmund frontman.

However, it would be silly not to acknowledge the brilliance of Erling Haaland due to his recent performances, with Manchester City defender Ruben Dias doing so when remembering his dominant showing against Arsenal.

MORE MAN CITY STORIES"It was one of the best games I've seen Erling play last season and because of that, I'll choose the goal he scored against Arsenal.

"Such type of performances would make Erling Haaland an even bigger threat ;Ruben Dias is spot on as Erling Haaland gave Gabriel Magalhaes in particular a nightmare.

The Norwegian goalscorer's one-of-a-kind physicality stood out in particular as he bullied Mikel Arteta's side at the back.

However, Haaland's back-to-goal game in general demands plenty of room of improvement.

If the 23-year-old can manage to piece together such displays on a more frequent basis, it would be borderline impossible to stop him.
