Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is preparing to face Brighton in the Premier League and here are the latest injury updates ahead of the match, including the latest on Kevin De Bruyne.
The last couple of matches for Manchester City in the Premier League have not been good as they lost to Wolves and Arsenal in their last two games. It was the first time they have lost Premier League games back-to-back since December 2018.
Now, Pep Guardiola needs to pick up a win to get back on track and also to help them get back to the top of the Premier League.
Manchester City injury list Key midfielder Rodri was suspended for Manchester City's recent matches and he was clearly a big loss. He will be back for the game against Brighton at the Etihad on the weekend.
Here are the latest Manchester City injury updates and expected return dates.
LAST UPDATE: August 18th 2023 Kevin De Bruyne suffered an injury during the first game of the Premier League season against Burnley. At the time, it was suggested that the key central midfielder was going to be out for four-five months. He suffered an injury in the Champions League final last season and it looked like he recovered in time for the start of the Premier League 2023/24 season. Sadly it wasn't the case and he is not expected to feature until 2024.
Expected Return: 13th January 2024
For now, it looks like Pep Guardiola has no more injuries to deal with as Manchester City prepare for their match against Brighton.
No doubt this will please the manager massively, especially due to the fact that he had so many players taking part during the international break.
