Valentin Barco has now been criticised for his attitude - amid reports that the Boca Juniors No.19 will join Manchester City in 2024.
It was Oscar Ruggeri who questioned the 19-year-old while speaking on ESPN.
So, what is the latest on Valentin Barco? Let's take a look...
What's the story? Well, it was respected South American journalist Martin Liberman who claimed that the Argentine will be joining Manchester City in January - and Pep Guardiola has even sent him a fitness plan.
While it remains to be seen if that is true or not, Barco is now facing criticism for his attitude following a clash with Edinson Cavani at Boca Juniors.
In Monday's Copa Argentina win over Talleres Cordoba, the teenager was seen complaining to the experienced Uruguayan at length over his decision making.

Cavani - who is now 36 after playing at the very highest level for Napoli, PSG and Manchester United over the years - looked visibly annoyed to be dressed down by a teenager.

- Argentina Gol (@BocaJrsGol) October 16, 2023 Speaking about the incident, Ruggeri said: "Barco has to correct those little things. He's a little boy who needs to be taught, otherwise he'll hit the wall. Do you think that yesterday, in the dressing room, Cavani took a bath and left?
"I thought he was going to hit him, it makes you angry. This has to be corrected. This kid has to learn these things because otherwise he's going to have a bad time."
For example, the Spaniard sent Joao Cancelo - one of Manchester City's best players at the time - packing after he reacted poorly to being dropped for Rico Lewis, according to the Guardian.
Therefore, if the 52-year-old is comfortable enough to oust an experienced international like Cancelo, he will have no patience when it comes to the 19-year-old Barco.
