The forward won't be leaving Manchester City this summer, according to the player's agent.

Erling Haaland is '1000 percent committed to' Manchester City according to his agent, despite reports earlier this year of interest in a summer move to Real Madrid.

There were claims in the Spanish press that Haaland wants to depart City this summer due to the star striker not being settled in Manchester, with Madrid reportedly only needing to meet a PS128m release clause this window.

Haaland was asked about those rumours in March ahead of a Champions League clash against Copenhagen, a month after Guardiola said his no.9 seems happy in England.

"I don't have that feeling that he is unhappy," the City boss said at the time. "He was because he could not play for two months because he was injured. Maybe the media from Spain, especially Madrid, have more information than us."

Haaland's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, also rejected those rumours of a potential link-up with Kylian Mbappe in Madrid during a recent interview. "I think the Erling Haaland project is one that will last over time, over the next few years," she told FlashScore.

"It will also depend on trends in football. In any case, one thing is certain today: Erling Haaland feels at home at Manchester City! He is 1000 percent committed to the City project and is already looking forward to the new season with the club."

Since signing for City, Haaland has netted a remarkable 90 goals in 98 games and has finished as Premier League top scorer in each of the last two campaigns. He's also won two league titles and helped Guardiola's side claim the treble in 2022/23.
