Chelsea have made an approach to sign one of Manchester City's reported transfer targets.
The two clubs have a track record when it comes to signing players from fellow Premier League sides in recent years.
For example, City have signed Matheus Nunes, Jack Grealish and Mateo Kovacic from other top-flight sides.
Then from Chelsea's point of view, the West London club have landed deals for Tosin Adarabioyo, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia among others over the past year or so.
Now that another summer transfer window has opened for business, a journalist has shared some behind-the-scenes details regarding another current Premier League star that City and Chelsea have their eyes on.
Journalist says Chelsea have approached Man City transfer target In a recent post on his official X account, journalist Edmund Brack said this on the situation.

Chelsea could scupper a potential City move for Olise Since arriving at Selhurst Park back in the 2021 summer transfer window, the winger has scored 16 goals and delivered 25 assists in 90 appearances across all competitions.
In his latest Premier League campaign with the Eagles, Olise, who Don Hutchison said could become even better under Pep Guardiola back in May, scored 10 goals and provided six assists, which highlights how much of an impressive attacking player he is.
Now that Chelsea have made an approach for the 22-year-old, this puts a potential move to the Etihad Stadium for Olise in jeopardy if he decides to stay in London and join the list of Premier League stars to make a move to Stamford Bridge.
Moving forward, with Chelsea making the first move to land a potential deal for the Palace star, this could force the Manchester club into action if they want to be the ones that secure his signature this summer.
