Manchester City have been linked with numerous players throughout the 2024 summer transfer window.
In terms of who they have managed to bring in this summer, City landed a PS33m deal for Savinho, as well as bringing Ilkay Gundogan back to the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer from Barcelona.
As the latest summer window is set to close later tonight, some behind-the-scenes details have emerged regarding another player who has reportedly been on the Manchester club's transfer radar recently.
Now though, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update about the centre-forward ahead of tonight's deadline on his official X account.
He said: "Orri Oskarsson set to join Real Sociedad for EUR20m package, deal in place."

City may end up regretting not signing Oskarsson Having scored 42 goals in 41 games for Copenhagen's U19 side, the 20-year-old now has 23 goals to his name from 62 senior appearances.
Appearing in all six of the Danish club's Superliga matches this season, Oskarsson has found the back of the net five times.
This makes it easy to see why City were looking at him and why he has now been reportedly snapped up by Sociedad.
However, with Haaland having bagged five goals across his first two Premier League games of the new season, the Blues will be hoping that the 24-year-old will be able to stay fit and firing throughout the campaign.
Moving forward, if the Iceland international goes on to have a successful time in Spain and keeps scoring goals on a regular basis, City could end up regretting not making a move for him this summer.
