Laia Aleixandri says Manchester City's fine 2-0 win has further boosted the Blues' confidence ahead of our UEFA Women's Champions League meeting with Barcelona.
Gareth Taylor's side extended our unbeaten start to the season to five straight matches in all competitions with the success over the Hammers thanks to goals from Lauren Hemp and Mary Fowler.
It represented our second consecutive home Barclays Women's Super League victory following our hard-fought 1-0 success over Brighton a week before.
Next up is a seismic meeting with Barcelona on Wednesday 9 October in our opening Group D assignment at the Joie Stadium.
And Aliexandri believes City are ready to lock horns with the reigning European champions after our strong start to the term.
"It was a massive win for us [against West Ham]," she declared.
"It gives us a lot of confidence for what's coming and also a clean sheet so we're very happy.
"We're ready [for the busy schedule] and our mentality is to win every game. We know it's going to be tough, but the contributions from the girls is massive and everyone is ready to play.
"It's a massive week for us and we're ready for it.
"We can't wait to play [Barcelona] here in front of our fans and it's going to be a really special games, especially for Leila [Ouahabi] and me.
"We know the players as we are team-mates in the national team so I think it's going to be a nice game."
