After weeks of rumbling, Leeds United finally drafted in a player to ease their midfield woes this past week signing free agent and former France international Josuha Guilavogui a player who can perhaps do the job Kalvin Phillips did so well.
The former Atletico Madrid and VfL Wolfsburg midfielder agreed a short term deal with the club and seemed delighted at the news.
"I am looking forward to training with the team, to help the team on the pitch, outside the pitch as well and hopefully that we set our goals.
"I had some offers, but nothing that I would say, okay, let's do it. And when my agent called me and said that Daniel has interest to sign me and watched over me, I said, yeah, let's go straight, straight to Leeds.
"Sometimes in life you have some opportunities and you don't want to miss it. I am really happy to be here.
"When I spoke with our manager, he knows what I can bring on the pitch and also outside the pitch, because we don't forget that we have injured players and I am there to help them. And when they will recover, I will also help the young players."
But the Frenchman may not be Leeds' only midfield acquisition with a shock return on the cards.

In a stunning turn of events, Kalvin Phillips reportedly wants a stunning return to Leeds United according to Ipswich Town officials. It's safe to say things haven't panned out the way the English international would have wanted since leaving Elland Road. In fact, the 2021 Euros Finalist lost his place in the England squad after his move to Manchester City, and though officially a Premier League winner in 2022/23, he hardly received any play time resulting in an ill-fated move to West Ham.
Now at Ipswich Town, there are no signs of Phillips' woes changes and he is now said to want a stunning return to Elland Road, where he made his name and developed into the star England needed in their midfield to partner Declan Rice.
