Stefan Ortega could leave Man City in search of regular first-team football at Bundesliga winners Bayer Leverkusen, sources have told Football Insider.
Reports in Germany have suggested Xabi Alonso's side are searching for a long-term replacement for Lucas Hradecky.
Sport Bild claim Ortega, 31, and Cologne star Jonas Urbig, 21, are on the radar for Leverkusen.
Sources say a return to Germany as a first-choice shot-stopper is a "very tempting" prospect for the City star.
