Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku completely and utterly dazzled for Belgium last night in their final Euro 2024 qualifier against Azerbaijan.

Romelu Lukaku has stolen headlines for scoring four goals in the space of 20 minutes in the 5-0 rout.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United strike was in deadly form, grabbing all of his goals between the 17th and 37th minutes. Leandro Trossard scored right at the end to put the icing on the cake.

The win saw Belgium advance as group winners to next year's finals.

One man who a lot of people will be watching for Belgium specifically next year at the tournament is City winger Jeremy Doku, who put on a stunning show last night.

Doku didn't see any minutes in the friendly against Serbia last week, but he played a full game against Azerbaijan, and it was truly a brilliant performance from the 21-year-old.

Doku confirmed his status as an absolute menace, completing 13/13 dribbles. According to Sofascore, out of 1,442,175 player performances across 47,489 football matches in their database, it is the first time a player has ever completed 13+ dribbles with a 100% success rate.

The electric star provided two assists, and Doku was also really good defensively, winning an amazing 14 ground duels, which will surely please Pep Guardiola.

Doku was a thorn in Azerbaijan's side all game, creating three big chances and providing five key passes.

Belgian publication RTBF gave him an 8/10 for his display, and said he would have been man of the match if not for Lukaku scoring four, and after the game, Trossard hailed Doku as being 'extremely dangerous'.

Unbelievable from Doku Azerbaijan are not the strongest opposition, but this was still a truly outstanding performance from Doku, who simply couldn't be contained.

The PS50,000-a-week ace has been brilliant for City in recent weeks and he very much transferred over his club form last night.

Doku has been electrifying in City colours over the past couple of months and he seems to be improving by the game. His display against Bournemouth, which saw him grab four goals and one assist, will live long in the memory.

It is difficult to see how Pep can overlook him when he is in this kind of form, because he genuinely looks unstoppable at the moment. The manager has challenged him to become just as impactful playing from the right though, so that his something he needs to work towards.
