What is the greatest front three the Premier League era has ever seen?
There have been so many unbelievable forwards in the Premier League, particularly at Manchester United. The likes of Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are but a few of the dynamite names to have been banging in goals in front of the Old Trafford faithful over the years.
But whilst there have been many individuals that have shone as forwards, it's very rare to get a trio of players that excel in the way they do.
BBC pundit, Micah Richards, believes Manchester United have the greatest front three in Premier League history.
On an episode of Match of the Day's Premier League Top 10s - Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards sat down to discuss who had the 'best attacking trio the Premier League has ever seen'.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Despite his Manchester City roots, he went for the trio of Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez as his trio.
They were a formidable force. During the time they played together, they featured in 42 games, winning 32 of them - scoring a ludicrous total of 93 goals.
Who did Lineker and Shearer pick? Shearer opted for the trio of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, who were a fantastic bunch of players together.
178 goals were scored between this phenomenal front three under Jurgen Klopp, so we can definitely understand why they're up there.
Lineker was undecided between Shearers and Richards' choice, but thankfully to the delight of Red Devils fans - went for the latter.
