Alan Pardew has given his verdict on Manchester United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The former Newcastle United manager has noted what he finds strange about Fernandes.

So, what has Alan Pardew said about Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes? Let's take a look.

Well, Alan Pardew has been speaking about Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes.

The former Newcastle United and West Ham United manager has noted Fernandes does not score enough goals for the Red Devils, who are interested in signing Rosenborg midfielder Sverre Nypan.

Although the talkSPORT pundit has pointed out that Fernandes has created more chances than anyone else in the Premier League this season, he has not been impressed with his end product or lack of it.

Fernandes scored eight goals and gave eight assists in Premier League matches last season.

Pardew said about Fernandes on talkSPORT (6:54 pm, February 18, 2024): "He is a strange player, isn't he? Because he has this incredible stat - he creates more chances than anybody else in the Premier League apparently, according to my stat man here, and yet, the end product this year hasn't really been there."

My View: Bruno Fernandes a big player for Manchester United In my opinion, Bruno Fernandes is one of the best and most important players for Manchester United.

I think that the PS240,000-a-week (Spotrac) Portugal international attacking midfielder will play a big role for Erik ten Hag's side in the coming weeks and months.

United are now back in the race for a UEFA Champions League place in the Premier League table this season, especially with striker Rasmus Hojlund banging in the goals for fun.

The Red Devils have won their last four league matches and are now only five points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.

Fernandes is the playmaker-in-chief for United, and I think that he will have to be on top of his game for the rest of the season for the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners to be successful.
