Manchester United have had rotten injury luck this season. There's absolutely no disputing that fact. Erik ten Hag has been missing his better players for prolonged periods of time - though it does feel like the issues have eased over the last month or so.

One man whose debut season at Old Trafford has been absolutely wrecked by treatment table woes is Mason Mount. The ex-Chelsea midfielder arrived in Manchester with promise aplenty, though that quickly fizzled out after picking up an early injury. He has not been able to recover from that.

Mount last played for the club back on November 11th, with no real news given on his fitness at all. The club, rightly, want to remain tight-lipped on the situation, as to not place any extra pressure on his shoulders.

However, reputable United source, @INSIDERUTD1, have now shed some light on the situation of Mount, among others.

He claims that the United player is now 'close' to being available again following his three-month injury. Apparently, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is now about 2-4 weeks away, while there's no specific timeframe placed on the problems of both Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw.
