Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have reportedly learned the asking price of Everton midfielder James Garner. According to reports, Everton is willing to entertain offers between PS20m and PS25m for the player. Following successful loan spells at Nottingham Forest, Garner was signed by Everton in the summer of 2022 after a fee close to PS15m was agreed with Manchester United. Since then, he has established himself as a firstteam regular under manager Sean Dyche.

With a contract until June 2026 at Goodison Park, there are concerns about potential financial issues leading to the sale of some key players ahead of next season. Recent rumors suggest that Tottenham sees Garner as an alternative option to Chelsea's Conor Gallagher while also considering a move from Newcastle.

The Toffees value him between PS20m PS25 million hoping they can make profit if they agree sell.Football Insider claims that both Tottenham & New castle would be interested in signing him. If Everton is relegated to the Championship, it would become even more difficult for them to keep hold of Garner.

Currently sitting 17th in the Premier League table and just above relegation zone by goal difference only shows how crucial maintaining topflight status is for Everton. The Toffees' ability to demand a desired fee for Garner could depend on their performance next season.

Tottenham already has several midfield options available including Pape Matar Sarr, Yves Bissouma, and Rodrigo Bentancur who have regularly featured this season. However, there are rumors linking PierreEmile Hojbjerg with a move away from North London while Oliver Skipp and Giovani Lo Celso have struggled for regular game time at Tottenham.

Newcastle was keen on adding a new midfielder during the January transfer window but couldn't due to financial constraints. Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton , Sean Longstaff ,and Lewis Miley have predominantly operated in midfield positions this season for Newcastle United although some of them may leave as part of balancing finances along with injuryplagued Joe Willock returning soon from his long suspension period.ID:537237:1false2false3false :QQ::from db desktop :LenBod:collect7421:
